Psalm 23 did not have to wreck me this morning like it did. I want to share a part of it with y’all.

𝙃𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡: He being Christ. Because of repentance and the cultivation of relationship through prayer & the Word; I’ve been redeemed, refined and restored ( this will continue to happen until Christ returns).

𝙃𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙨 𝙢𝙚: He being Christ. Christ being the Light. Even in the dark His light still shines. His light exposes what’s hidden in the darkness. Why? So that the testimony of the successful transition out of darkness brings glory to His name.

𝙔𝙚𝙖, 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝: Death in its substance has been removed (because The Light went to the Cross)… ONLY the shadow of death remains…

Think about how a shadow forms…The shadow of an object appears when it( the object) stands in front of the light or tries to block the light.

The object (death) attempted to obstruct the Light (the redemptive work of Christ). However, The Light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it] (John 1:5 AMP)..

Shadows cannot halt momentum, even for a moment.

Much like the shadow of a bear cannot kill….. The shadow of death has no power to destroy.

Walk in the Light. Follow the leading of The Shepard. He deals with the fear and friction of enemies/life life’n/death…

Spending time with God yields knowledge and cultivates wisdom that helps us make the best use of the knowledge we gain. I’ll never read Psalm 23 the same again and it’s because The Light decided to shine on me 💗
